Discovery Group first conducts an investigation with leadership of the organization. During this conference the optimum positioning for your product/service is determined.

Company leadership will convene for a day-long interactive experience that involves the energetic participation (discussion and break out activities) of all attendees. This exercise allows decision makers an opportunity to clearly articulate their vision for their brand and dictate the future of their organization, their products, and their services.

Point 2 - Market Assessment

Discovery Group analyzes the existing market to obtain the intelligence necessary upon which to create the plan for communicating the brand and its messages to designated markets.

This information provides company leadership with consumer / marketplace opinion of the organization’s brand and offerings and its perceived needs and desires. This information affords leadership an understanding of any gap between consumer needs and desires, and the perceived offerings of the brand.

Developing a picture of the ideal and then taking a realistic look at the gaps is vital information that can be used to design methods and processes to close the gaps between consumer wants and the organization’s products/delivery systems. In many cases such gaps are only informational, e.g. brand and attribute awareness. In other cases a fundamental product issue is surfaced. .

Point 3 - Creating a Plan for Branding, Positioning, and Communication
(The Blueprint for Action)


Discovery Group presents the results of the both the market assessment and the company vision, revealing the gaps between market need and perception, and the desired position of the organization.

In concert with organization leadership, the development of a strategic manifestation plan is facilitated – with detailed action steps and responsibility assignments. When implemented, such a plan will confirm the brand and its position and close the gaps between perceived market need and the brand fulfillment.

Point 4 - Implementing the Branding, Positioning, and Communication Plan

Discovery Group assists clients with the implementation of their cultural manifestation plan. Per the plan's pert chart, the launch of the cultural initiative is followed by ongoing strategies and tactics, flighted to continuously immerse the workplace in the culture and values of the organization.
